Built from real conversations with real clinicians.

Addison didn't start with a pitch deck. It started with a problem — one we kept hearing from mental health practitioners across New Zealand who were spending more time on admin than on care.

Why we built this

Solo practitioners were being left behind.

Booking systems built for GPs. Practice management tools designed for large clinics. Spreadsheets held together with good intentions. For solo mental health practitioners navigating ACC, EAP, and private clients simultaneously, nothing quite fit. We spent time with psychologists, counsellors, and social workers — listening to how they actually worked, where they lost time, and what kept them up at night. Addison is our answer to that.

NZ & AU

Built specifically for ACC, EAP, and private funding models across both markets.

Day one

Privacy and security weren't added as features — they're the foundation we built on.

"I built Addison because practitioners deserve software designed for their specific context — not adapted from something else. Every decision, from how we store data to how we handle ACC allocations, was made with that in mind."

— Ashton Baker, Founder

Who's behind Addison

Addison is a product of Mayhem Labs, a New Zealand software company with hands-on experience. We've spent years building and operating software in environments where data handling and compliance aren't optional — so we understand the responsibility that comes with building tools for the health sector.
